Memex Fantastica!

For one of our homework assignments, we had to read about a machine called a "Memex," thought up by semi-genious Vannevar Bush. Our teacher described it as "a steampunk computer." The purpose of the machine was to record information and be able to link like data in similar files while also being able to write notes about it (thus the idea of hyperlinks was born.)
And now, I'm going to use that same concept of hyperlinks to show you more about the Memex. Ironic, huh? :)

A short description of the Memex.

This is an image of the research camera one would wear to input scientific data in the machine. Not much on this link, but I liked the picture.

The "Memex Simulator"- pretty cool, gives you a walkthrough on all the pieces

A super-short clip of him talking about his article.
